ABOUT ME
I build websites, apps, and systems
that bring real customers to your company.

My name is Filippo Oteri, I'm a developer, web designer, and consultant, and I study Computer Science at the University of Milano-Bicocca. I started programming to understand how things work, not to pad a resume. Over the years that curiosity became a method: before writing a line of code, I understand who will use what I'm building, and why. It's the same method I used to found Oter.
My mission is to build products that actually work, not just look like they do.

This isn't theory. It's what I've done so far, every time I've been handed a real problem with a real deadline.
The two projects below tell the same method applied to two different situations. AlertMonza was born out of months of listening: before writing a line of code, I talked to hundreds of students to understand what was actually needed, then I built a platform that beat ten other schools and was recognized by the Municipality of Monza. The TEDx Hensemberger website was born the opposite way: zero research time, a one-week deadline, and the trust of the person who'd handed it to me to honor. I delivered it in three days.
Two opposite contexts, same approach: understand what's needed first, build after. It's why I work the same way today with the companies that trust Oter.
